We are looking for Frontline Security Officers to work at sexual abuse tribunals in the central London area (SE1).

Successful applicants will need to be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with survivors or victims of child sex abuse or other sensitive victims of sexual violence.   

You will also need to hold a valid SIA licence, although we will provide full training and SIA licences for the right candidates.  The most important requirement is experience of working with victims and survivors of sex abuse or violence.  

Leisuresec PLC are looking to recruit a Security Manager, based at the company’s head office in Warwickshire, with travel throughout the UK. Reporting to Leisuresec’s National Compliance Manager the successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the operational delivery of Leisuresec’s security services, overseeing deployment of staff.

Customer theft is the most common type of retail crime in the UK.  In 2016 it represented 75% of crime incidents and 66% of the direct cost of crime.  The British Retail Consortium’s Annual Retail Crime Survey reported these figures, along with £438m as the cost of customer theft to UK retailers in 2016.

There has been much research done into the effect a store’s design and layout can have on shoplifting.  By thinking carefully about these things and implementing some seemingly small changes, stores can reduce their losses from shoplifters.

A shop with lots of hidden corners is providing ample opportunity for a thief to conceal items without being noticed.  Open floor plans with space between displays however make it easy for staff to see the customers and watch what they are doing.  

Well the John Lewis Christmas advert has been released, along with all the other major retailers, so Christmas has officially begun….! And after spending a massive £7m on one TV advert they are obviously expecting serious sales results over the festive season.

The hard work was all worth it for Sonny Barrah as he achieved success once again; this time at the Global Powerlifting World Championships in the Czech Republic. 

Competing in the under 82.5kg category Sonny took the title for his age group breaking world records for squat, deadlift and bench lifts.

Deadlift:    273kg

At the age of 20, Sonny now holds 4 World Records, 6 European Records and is British Powerlifting Champion.
