Creating customer loyalty

Repeat customers.  The final, and yet arguably the most important stage in the customer lifecycle.

Sales people are continually looking for new customers and new business, but if the statistics are to be believed there is much more value, and less cost to a company, in retaining current customers.

Improving construction site security

Theft.
Arson.
Vandalism.
The list could continue ….

What options are there available?

How to manage difficult customers

Anyone who has worked in a customer facing environment such as a hotel, bar, restaurant, shop or hospital will have at least one story about a difficult customer.  It’s almost a rite of passage when working with the public on a daily basis.  As someone with a background in the hospitality industry I’ve experienced my share of these, some of which I managed to resolve successfully but also a few where I wasn’t as happy with the outcome or that needed someone else’s help to deal with.

Security awareness increases

Following the horrific attack on Monday night at the Manchester Arena, the UK’s terrorism threat level was raised to its highest, CRITICAL.  Meaning an attack is imminent. Although it has now been reduced to SEVERE, this still means an attack is highly likely.

Police and Armed Forces are patrolling city centres and event venues, and everyone is being warned to be vigilant.

Many companies have been reviewing their security requirements over the last few days, updating risk assessments and increasing numbers to give staff and customers extra reassurance.

Inspired by his father, a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal winner in Karate, Sonny (real name Bvinder Barrah) is friendly and relaxed, but also very competitive and determined to achieve his goals.

Do you really need an alarm response service?

It is easy to answer ‘no’ to this without thinking through the full implications.  Maybe you have a small company and think you don’t really need it, it’s not worth paying for the service.  You have members of staff who live nearby and can be called on to come out and reset the alarm if it goes off when no-one is there.

It’s always worked in the past

There are a significant number of company owners or managers who take this view, and 99% of the time the system works fine.
